Is the answer to the question, what problem are we solving?

By specifically targeting systemic barriers and using our lived experience lens we open the doors to networks, resources, industry and financial knowledge that have been previously hidden from historically underrepresented communities.

We are improving access by pioneering new support models for foodpreneurs whether they are creating their first or 50th prototype or ready to scale up for commercialization.

How we are solving the problem

Based on feedback from underserved communities we know that there are enormous gaps in understanding the lived experiences that impact product development, business and financial intelligence.  Entrepreneurial supports often overlook and lack respect for cultural and gender references that interfere with an entrepreneur’s ability to start or scale a food product.

Every Step of the Way

To address these gaps and fully support our foodpreneurs we have pioneered a new model we call Advisor-Led Startup and Scale Up Support Paths.

Individualized support and industry experts are at the center of our approach.  What this means is that product and business development is guided  for both business paths, product development.

PATHS

STARTUP OR SCALE UP?

We have developed a unique success model that focuses on providing an individualized experience for first-time foodpreneurs or companies ready to grow.

Startup Path is for pre-revenue foodpreneurs who have an idea they want to turn into a prototype.

Scale Up Path is for foodpreneurs who are already selling products in the market and are ready for commercialization or product diversification.
